I was on a Zoom discussion several weeks ago. That led to an offer to do a blog interview about writing women.
I took a look at the blog site, Lois Winston’s Killer Crafts and Crafty Killers, and the whole notion of a guy like me pontificating on writing female characters seemed wrong. I mean, it’s a great site, but it’s PINK.
We came up with a solution: let Weezy talk.Much to my surprise, my co-protagonist in the Mayfield-Napolitani series, Louise Napolitani, granted the interview and turned out to be quite voluble. She normally doesn’t do such things. After all, she’s a cybersecurity expert, and her expertise has gotten her nearly incinerated in a tin-box trailer, pushed off an elegant river cruiser in the Danube, and … well, she goes through a lot more in books to come. This blogger, Lois Winston, must have special skills to penetrate the hard shell Weezy sometimes presents to the world.
I think you’ll find the interview interesting. Read it at https://anastasiapollack.blogspot.com/2022/01/an-interview-with-louise-weezy.html
I know most of you have the first book in the Mayfield-Napolitani series, Fatal Score, but if you don’t, it’s available free HERE
